Pick up: 09:00 am. The day of the tour we wait for you in the city of Archidona or Tena; We pick you up at 9 am at your hotel or from the hotel "Palmar del Rio Premium" located in Archidona. Visit to El Churo geosite: 09:15 am. The first geotourism site we will visit is "El Churo", in this place we will be received in the resting hut from where we will have the initial talk to go out and explore the millenary caves of the site. In this journey we will pass through rocks with petrified prehistoric shells and churas as well as geological formations that create a natural passageway where the light enters in a peculiar way, giving the place a touch of magic. This site is sacred to the locals. Also here we will do a short walk discovering caves and waterfalls, until noon, and we will return to the rest hut. 100% Amazon lunch: 12:30 pm. In the geosite "El Churo" we will enjoy a delicious and peculiar Amazonian dish, prepared with bijao leaves in firewood in a traditional Kichwa kitchen, with organic ingredients such as yucca, green, hearts of palm, Creole eggs, mushrooms, yuyu scribble, legs very (white cocoa), chonta papa, etc., and accompanied by a delicious guayusa or tea. Expedition to the Grand Canyon: 02:00 pm. After tasting the typical Amazonian lunch, we will depart to the great Ñachiyaku canyon, here we will walk through the jungle until we reach the canyon formed by the Jondachi river. In this place a natural pool is formed and from a rock more than 5 meters high we can make some exciting jumps to the water. This site is part of the Amazonian Geopark and has very interesting geological formations such as a cave that have a waterfall inside it. We will take some good pictures, swim and enjoy a snack before returning. Return: 05:30 pm. We will be back to the initial meeting site at approximately 5:30 p.m.
