Departure: 08:30 am: We meet at our office in Banos at 8:30 a.m. We travel in a private car towards Puyo, where we will visit a zoo where you can see animals of the Amazon, which include monkeys, ocelots and alligators. Then we will visit a beautiful waterfall, which is about two hours from the cabins, where we can swim and enjoy the tranquility of the forest. The stunning surroundings make the area memorable. On the way back to a camp through the jungle, we will have some explanations about the rainforest and its flora and fauna, when we arrive at the camp we will have a traditional lunch, after that, we will make a canoe ride for 30 minutes along the Puyo River, then we will visit a viewpoint where we will have an exceptional view of the tropical jungle. We will continue our trip and visit a Quichua indigenous community where you can see how they make necklaces and bracelets. We can also practice the blowpipe and paint our face with achiote, which is a natural painting. Return: 8:00 pm: To conclude the day, we can also visit a local family, where we can learn how to make handmade chocolate. After this incredible adventure we will return to Baños around 8 pm.
